For this special dinner, our Chef and Sommelier team worked together to create a pairing menu that paid homage to the harvest season, fall, and even Halloween. Beer vs. Wine Dinner feat. Sam McNulty of Market Garden Brewery
May 22, 2025

The Marble Room Wine Dinner Series was proud to present a special event featuring an eight-ish course tasting menu in the luxurious Vault. The evening was hosted by Market Garden Brewery founder Sam McNulty and Marble Room Wine Director Kevin Kane.

This unique dinner showcased the ultimate culinary pairing throwdown – Beer vs. Wine!

Chef teams from both Market Garden and Marble Room collaborated to create a delicious, multi-course menu. For each course, Sam selected a Market Garden beer and Kevin chose a wine to pair with the dish. The menus were kept secret and were only revealed to Sam and Kevin one week prior to the event. Guests had the opportunity to vote on which pairing they felt best complemented each dish, and by the end of the night, a winner of the culinary smackdown was declared.
