From a cozy canal-side pub to some of Cleveland, Ohio’s most celebrated dining rooms, Savour Hospitality has always been about one thing: serving extraordinary food with genuine warmth. Our story begins in 1988 and continues today across Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar, Il Venetian, LockKeepers, St. Clair Ballroom, Marble Room Sushi, and Savour Coffee & Creations—a collection united by refined cuisine, timeless design, and impeccable service.
The Beginning: The River Pub → LockKeepers Inn

Newly married and full of vision, Frank and Malisse Sinito took over The River Pub in 1988—an energetic neighborhood spot in a historic 160-year-old building along the Ohio & Erie Canal in Valley View. In 1992, they transformed it into The LockKeepers Inn, a quaint steakhouse with Italian specialties built on a simple promise: serve the highest-quality food with the care you’d offer at home.
As the restaurant’s reputation grew, so did the need for space. LockKeepers moved to Thornburg Station in 1995, then reopened in 2001 with soaring ceilings, banquet rooms, an upstairs sommelier room, and a patio overlooking the Cuyahoga River.
A New Landmark: Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar

In 2017, the Sinitos revived the opulent, long-abandoned National City Bank hall at 623 Euclid Avenue, restoring marble deposit tables, antique fixtures, and gilded tiles to create Marble Room Steaks & Raw Bar—now a Cleveland icon with lavish private dining rooms and multiple “Best Restaurant/Best Steakhouse/Best Downtown” honors.
The Key Center Collection: Il Venetian, St. Clair Ballroom & More

By 2018, Savour expanded at Key Center with Il Venetian (modern Italian from Venetian-born Chef Alberto Leandri), St. Clair Ballroom (a wedding and event venue with sweeping city views), Marble Room Sushi, and Savour Coffee & Creations (curated coffee, pastries, and lunch). In 2023, Il Venetian was named “Best Italian Restaurant in Ohio.”
